Our story

Experience is
our starting point.

Before the software, there was a real estate business. And a long list of things that could work better.

From operator to builder

A business built
from the ground up.

Cody McDonald began building Mac Does REI in 2019, starting without capital, connections or a blueprint. His work grew across Dallas-Fort Worth and Oklahoma City, bringing him into the details of buying, selling and investing in real estate.

That experience shaped the direction of MREI Tech. A deal is more than a pipeline stage. A note is more than a balance. And a client’s home search is more than a collection of listings. Each needs context, follow-through and a clear place for the work to live.

Today, Cody brings that operating perspective to NoteHarbor, Deal Harbor and the MacDoesREI digital experience. The aim is practical: make the details easier to manage, so people can give more attention to the work that needs them.

His wife, Hanah, has been a steady source of support throughout the journey. The same partnership and determination that helped build the real estate business continue to shape what comes next.

One studio, three perspectives

Built around
the whole day.

Deal Harbor gives the conversations, contacts and paperwork a place to move forward. NoteHarbor supports the ongoing work of servicing the notes you hold. MacDoesREI brings a considered digital experience to the client’s side of the journey.

Each product has its own purpose and personality. What connects them is a point of view: software should help you understand where things stand and what deserves your attention next.
