Also from the studio
The math, on the desk and in the field.
Loan, note, amortization and payoff calculators for the arithmetic that decides whether a deal works. Available on the web and as an iOS app for running numbers away from a desk.
- Loan and note calculators. The core figures a lender or note buyer reaches for, without opening a spreadsheet.
- Amortization schedules. See how a loan actually pays down over its term, period by period.
- Payoff math. Work a payoff figure from the same inputs as the schedule so the two agree.

What the studio is working on next.
New ways to manage properties, work with clients, and bring Harbor to the desktop.
How the studio works
Four rules, and they are not negotiable.
- 01
Start from the friction
Every product here began as a problem in a real business day, not as a market slide. If nobody is losing time to it, it does not get built.
- 02
Build the smallest useful version
The first release has to be good enough to run real work through. That is the only honest test of whether the idea holds.
- 03
Run it in production, personally
These tools get used in the same lending, brokerage and investing work they were built for. The feedback loop is short because it is the same person.
- 04
Keep raising the standard
Shipping is the start of the job. Products stay in the catalog only while they keep earning their place.
The founder
Find the problem, build the solution, keep raising the standard.
MREI Tech is the software side of Cody McDonald's work. He started in real estate in 2019 with no capital, no connections and no blueprint, and has been building businesses from the ground up ever since across Dallas-Fort Worth and Oklahoma City. The products here come straight out of that operating experience.
